My question is Why?
If you Cock the Lever of your Rifle in the Correct Manner in the 1st place you wont need a wrap for it.

Need versus desire, luxury versus necessity.  I love my lever wrap but if I removed it the way that I shoot wouldn't change at all.   ;D

Mz. Cammy...........Please forgive me for being such a tattletale, but come Roundup next weekend, you may need to check out Wildcat Will's Rifle.  I had a pass by look at it today at Lost River,,,,,,,,,,oh, no, I couln't completely stop and look..........too scared to..........looked to "fluffly" to me.  I told him I was gonna tell on him.  He actually had the courage to ask who I was gonna tell, in case he didn't know......hehehehehehe.

Just had to stir the pot again.

Miss Camille, you may need to bring a blacksmith to Virginia with you to make additional horseshoes. Looks like you may run out otherwise.
