January Precision Pistol Match
« on: January 29, 2023, 06:49:02 AM »
Gentlemen,  Due to weather, I'm going to extend the deadline for the January Precision Pistol Match by a week.  Those of us in the more northern latitudes have ranges we need to dig our way into right now.......

I went out today, and it was pretty sloppy.  Anyone else got their results for me?

I finally got rid of the Cimarron 32-20, have hopes of finding a GAF-suitable .44 special/Russian or 38 special.  Saw tons of repro-SAAs yesterday, some conversions, etc--unfortunately the interesting ones were all in 45 Colt.  I may have to break down and go that route, but I'll wait a few more months.  I've got til June-ish, right?

(Watch me at the Grand Muster, probably unboxing the 45 Colt I finally settled on. . . .)
In my book a pioneer is a man who turned all the grass upside down, strung bob-wire over the dust that was left, poisoned the water, cut down the trees, killed the Indian who owned the land and called it progress.  Charles M. Russell

Hell that's what I started with, I didn't know cowboys knew about .38s and .32's.  Of course, now I have a .30-40 Krag.
