"You can have the model T in any color, as long as its black." Or you can paint it red with Rustoleum paint. I don't even want to think about that one anymore. Some people just shouldn't have been allowed to reproduce. ;)

Well shucks and darn and oh wraghts "n" Phooey.

Here is my quandary.  I have four, thats 4, 3 plus 1 Henry Rifles.  I rotate em around the matches I shoot.  One is a  24 Inch Martial, with sling mounts, sling, just everything.  Cause it's a martial version, I left it a front loader.  It has been modified to shoot C45S cases, and will hold 18 + 1 rounds.  I also made "Stick, Mark 1 A1 to space the follower away from a 10 stack CAS load.  Man, is it ever front heavy with a full magazine.  Also, rapid fire, it gets some kind of HOT!!!
A 24 Inch Factory Transitional, also set up for C45S cases.
An 18 inch Carbine Transitional, set up for C45S cases
A 16 inch Trapper, also set up for C45S cases (Holds 12)
I currently LUST for an Iron Frame.  Unfortunately, the Rifle in Alaska is not an Iron Frame.  Additionally, I just blew my stash of fun money on a pair of Pietta 1862 36s.  I are Broke.  Oh well ............. SO:
SOMEBODY from this board NEEDS to snap up that rifle from Alaska and give it a loving home!!!  We NEED another Henry shooter to support  (pick on).  Lets GET WITH IT folks.

When one is in need and has been questing, a severe case of "Lakafundus" can be most debilitating.  My condolences to your ailing friend.
Yet .... there is certain benefit.  You now have an even number and when lugging em all around, you won't walk "lopsided" or exhibit a severe "list."  ;D

We'll see, I'll give him some time... a good guy. retired from the MOUSE ... he hoped to have time to shoot now that he didn't have to go to work @ Disney 5-6 days a week ...

I think structured retirement income may have his visions on hold a while  :(

Ahem.  And Gesundheit!!

I can readily identify with those whom are saddled with a structured retirement income.  However, that is balanced somewhat by being able to use your alarm clock as a "target,"  Getting up when you darn well feel like it (or not), Not having to beg extra time off for extra time at Disney.  Disney twice a year.  Having my weekend run from Monday thru Friday, ah, I'm sorry.  I really shouldn't make your friend feel bad.  Nor rub it in to those who must still earn a living.
Retirement sucks.  Really,  and ...... if ...... you ....... believe .......THAT,  about my bridge ........ ;D
