Prayers up for Mustang Gregg
« on: October 17, 2012, 06:12:03 AM »
We need to send up some prayers for GAF Division of Nebraska Commander Lt. Col. Mustang Gregg. I received the following from him:

Friends:

Just to let you know thay I got my RH thumb torn up very seriously last Sunday pm when out checking pastures.
I was carrying the Mauser rifle and when I opened the bolt to empty it; It went off and drove the bolt back into my thumb.
I'm praying I will have use of it in the future.  Active duty folks are not happy about this accident.

Gregg

Mustang Gregg,

Again, best wishes; may this just turn out to be a good anecdote in the future ... one of those "There I was" ...

TTFN,
My moniker is my great grandfather's name. He served with the 2nd Florida Mounted Regiment in the Civil War. Afterward, he came home, packed his wife into a wagon, and was one of the first NorteAmericanos on the Frio River southwest of San Antonio ..... Kinda where present day Dilley is ...

Get a good hand surgeon and rehab person.

Keeping you in thoughts and prayers.

Thanks for the prayers, Troopers and Pards!

My rehab is going pretty well.  It looks healed, but the movement and control are not what they were.
Last Saturday I was doing a little gunfighter practice and it's coming along.   ;D

Much obliged,
Mustang Gregg
