New Uniforms
« on: August 01, 2011, 12:38:26 PM »
Here are a couple of uniform possibilities for using an 1891 Moison-Nagant or a Gewehr 98.  The Russian uniform especially looks like it would be fairly easy to come up with.

There's a nice GEW 98 going real reasonably on Gunbroker right now.  Ends in less than two hours.

Just remember that for the GAF, the rifles must be in a pre-WWI configuration, so the shorter variants used between the world wars and afterward aren't generally acceptable.  GAF Division Musters are authorized to allow them, if the Muster Director approves as an introduction to GAF shooting, but they can not be shot at the Grand Muster.

I would add that the 98 in proper configuration is ONLY allowed in the EEM, it is NOT authorized for main match usage.

Civilize them with a Krag . . .
