:) COWABUNGA Howdy Doody  ;)

I am what the Brits call "Gob Smack'd."  Totally unaware Pietta was making Remingtons.  Remingtons of any sort.  I are amazed.  :o

:) Hey Rube!!  ;)  While I am not a fan of Remington pattern guns, that is one really fine looking Remington.  I certainly hope you have a lot of fun with it while in your care!!  8)

They sure do make Remingtons. I have a pair of Sheriff Model Remingtons that I have owned for a number of yeas now. This one is definitely a step up in quaility or at least flashyness.

USFA CSS / ALL US Made USFA
« Last post by russ1943 on Yesterday at 09:21:03 AM »
Ben a member here at CAS for a while.  I have 2, 7.5" USFA, SAA all US made parts based on Serial Numbers NIB, both have a second set a grips, they are in 44-40, Trunbull Case Coloring.  Looks like I will never fire them. So I am thinking about selling them here, in the classified section.

Years ago I have bought and sold guns thru Guns America, and another site that I think is now gone.  Where you suggest the best place to sell them.

Thanks
RJS

CAS City Classifieds / WTS 1920’s Commercial Luger
« Last post by Grenadier on Yesterday at 06:25:57 AM »
Beautiful example of a post WW1 Luger in .30. DWM made with original walnut stocks. Comes with a high quality replica holster and a replica magazine. I do have some commercial ammo available too but would have to ship separate.

Asking $1100 or I will consider a partial trade of a BP revolver, no brass frames unless it’s a Griswold or a Dance replica.  May also be enticed with WW1/WW2 French rifles, just depends.

I can email pics to those interested. Please contact me Brenmk1@gmail.com

Howdy Buck and Major,

I made a few trips to the Jukar factories back in the 70"s. They had a bunch of cottage industries making the parts that went into the kits and finished muzzleloaders. One shop made locks and triggers, another barrels. There was a separate brass foundry and a furniture factory made the wood stocks. They became a bit more sophisticated as time went on, but never had the ability (in my opinion) to build a revolver. CVA did import a Remington repro from the Santa Barbara weapons factory. The factory was government owned and produced what many feel is the finest Remington Repro ever imported.

I still contend that any CVA marked revolvers (I can't speak to FIE) were Italian.

For the purposes of history.
