The Darksider's Den / 11.7X51R Danish

Has any one had any experience loading the Danish round?  At first blush, it seems to me you could run a 45-70 reamer in the chamber and shoot available
ammo?

The worst of it, my back was to the idiot, talking to my friend.
I heard  "whoa, whoa, WHOA" I turned on the second louder whoa !
and jumped away.... the AHole was oblivious to his stupidity.

The guy was "addressed" sternly  >:(  I remained calm...but HE knew I was eh! irate  >:(

DrummerBoy,
Thank you for the kind words.  No, my wife does not help me. I formulate my own thoughts and express them with my own word patterns.

I do hope you get your full questions answered by others.

Hope to see more of your questions here once you start your reloading journey.  There are a lot of experienced poster on this & other forums sections to give ideas.

Parchment skin is what I call it, as I’ve aged my skin has gotten thinner and cut’s easier too. That is both physical and mentally. What I need is rhino hide to deal with the environment and PEOPLE!
Maybe he needed to impress the girl.

Kent, you just described me to a "T".  Maybe we were born to different mothers at the same time (phase of the moon don't ya know - smile).

To add to the thread, I used to have a good friend who ran the gun shop side of one of the largest pawnshops in our town.  He told me more than once he routinely, like several times a week, had loaded guns pointed at him by people wanting him to buy their gun or pawn it for them.  I watched it happen once right in front of me.  He was far more tactful than I would have been.

Looks good, Bob. Suspenders, too. That should be a comfortable rig. Do you cross the suspenders or wear them straight?

Sheesh.  Limpbrains.  Deacon, too bad he didn't drop it when he spun it.  Then you could have said "get out your credit card."  :)

Major, glad you are still with us after that experience!

When I used to go to shoots for Cimarron, I'd have to keep a good eye on the browser's when they picked up a gun.  If they just opened the loading gate and then tried to turn the cylinder, I knew it was a "Ruger person" and watched like a hawk to make sure they didn't then try to pull the hammer back just enough to turn the cylinder (and mark it).  And made sure they knew not to let the hammer down from half cock.  Idiots or just ignorant?  A little of both.

 Black River Smith,
What a SPLENDID piece of writing!!! (Did your wife proofread it?[mine did!])
Obviously must get that 49th Edition ASAP!
Joe Salter has a box of old 45-70 smokeless on his site right now… procedure to download a pic is beyond me at the mo…
BTW I might have waxed a little bit too eloquent in my zeal to support my faith in the toggle action on another site…..if anybody notices…not apologizing but I am owning up..
I spoke with Jathan at the Cody museum yesterday about the carrier size on those British Army trials rifles….that carrier DOES make for a longish action, but a smooth one, and the innards don’t fall out…
Thanks Again!

Upcoming Musters / Re: 2023 GAF Grand Muster
« Last post by DEL56 on Today at 01:18:26 PM »
I've already printed out my registration for the Grand Muster. Filling it out to mail in here soon. Now just need to figure out what weapons and country to shoot before I leave. May have to bring a few and decide there. Looking forward to it and praying no physical problems to keep me away this year. Also planning to stop at the WW1 Museum on the way.
