17 hardy soles ( including a combat female veteran Iraq War) Temps ware in the 40's
They brought Dunkin Donuts & Coffee, but no one beat the Calories out of the donuts so I decided to pass.
I did get some coffee though  ;D
They left for parts unknown, and the remaining donuts stayed   ::) tempting but I refrained.

I did assession a cool donated collection of Navy ship plaques including the USS Stark

37 degrees at 7:00 AM here in the Sunshine State. Almost got my ski jacket out.

Afternoon all.

Y’all are making me jealous with your above freezing temperatures. 21 here overnight, currently 30.  ::)

On todays to-do list, I have some trailer work, horse feeding and dog petting. Beyond that, I’ve been reading a book and assisted in the cooking of a pot of spaghetti.

And now for a soapbox moment: I needed to buy lightbulbs at China-Mart last night for the chandelier in the kitchen. Specifically I needed 40w fluorescent bulbs. I like LED, but they burn out in this fixture in about a week for whatever reason. Walmart does not sell fluorescent bulbs anymore. I ended up buying 25 watt incandescent bulbs (for $6 each). I understand that LED is better, more efficient etc. but they don’t work in this fixture at all. I’m tired of replacing them once a week. I just want twisty bulbs.

Consider this soapbox returned to the pile.

I got stabbed, last week with (bivalent) Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine.
No ill effects or reaction noticed.
When I had covid last June, I had the sore throat for about 4 days and fatigue about a week.
My prior Pfizer shots & booster had worked in keeping my bout from getting seriously ill, I believe.

I've gotten a Flu shot for years; I suppose the Covid Shot is the new reality.

Home by myself with just the animals till about 6.  Going to do some cleaning, I'm to the point as long as thing look a little better in the evening than the morning I'm a good boy.  A supper is a bonus, may look for something to make.  Had a couple off days, not bad but feel great this morning, think I just over did it Friday.  Think it's time to go back to the gym.

You just copied my homework ::) they’re nice little shooters, just be careful as they have short chambers and not all factory 357mag ammo will actually fit right. Specifically, I’ve had Armscor 158gr FMJ and Grizzly Ammo Co. 180gr HC-LRN cause the cylinder to bind. Both are right at max SAAMI OAL.

Had a snowy one in Missoula today, got a fresh inch. After the day job, went and fed horses.

Also sold my GMC truck today. Didn’t get as much as I’d hoped for, but enough to pay it off and have some left over to buy parts for the other buggies in the stable.

Evening folks, 37 here right now, gonna hit 54 tomorrow. The Missus is on the mend, just still weak as a cat. Go back to work Saturday, as I tested negative again today for the China Flu.
