Okay, I forgot to welcome you to the Forum!
Don't use the "Quick Reply" window at the
bottom. Use the "Reply" tab at the bottom
of the post. That will open the response
window and  that let you insert a file.

Cheers!

And I forgot to say thanks!  ;D

Quote from: Major 2 on Yesterday at 11:14:13 AMTrue, CCW are not required as a Constitutional carry State, but I got mine 20+ years ago, renew is a simple mail in with fee every 7 years.
The advantage is the no wait period.

In Kansas, having a CCW, there is no background check when purchasing a firearms. We still have to fill out the 4473, but that is for local archiving by the FFL.

Spencer Shooting Society / Updated -1860 Spencer SRS Hit
Last post by Mike4MSU - Yesterday at 02:42:40 PM
I recently won an auction for an unbelievable 1860 Spencer and am hoping someone can look up the SRS. I do not have it in hand, but appears all original and in good overall condition. The serial number is 14147. Thank you.

I don't see an option to upload a photo, but have one to share from the auction if interested

Quote from: wlw-19958 on Yesterday at 02:00:30 PMHi There,

I'm sure your Spencer was not marked by the C.S.A. The
1865 Burnside arrived too late to get into the war.  The
first delivery of 1865 Burnside Spencers was April 15,
the day Lincoln died.

I think you are looking at a stock inspector's initials. I
don't have a list of inspector's marks but there is an in-
spector of Spencers stocks with the initials C. S. L. (see
Pp. 92 Spencer Repeating Arms by R. M. Marcot).

Cheers!

Ok thanks that makes sense thanks again for the information
