Title: Rare sighting confirmed

A rare sighting of the elusive, and sometimes believed extinct, PAYPHONE has been confirmed.  This herd numbered a total of 6 individuals and have taken up shelter in a lower level of a casino in downtown Reno.  They appear to have settled in for the long term, so I will check on them once in awhile.

They do take coins, but I'll have to wait till I get back there and see if I can get close enough to see if there is a card slot.

I still remember the nice lobby booths of the 40's, 50's,  and 60's. For a while, I even worked for a company that repaired pay phones. That was a while ago.

Without the area code, that number is useless. If the story is true, I grew up in that area code ;D

Was back at at the phone lair today.

Abilene:

They have 12 belly buttons, no helicopter parts ::)

Slim:

No Plastic, just hard currency  ::)

 Now that I think of it, the location of this lair of the wily critters was right on the path to the un-watering hole.  They may have been waiting there hoping to lure some unsuspecting prey into giving up some of their sustenance in hope of greater return.

I guess I may need to return to the site and see how their numbers are faring.
