45's 4 3/4" bbl premiums. Blue, factory ivory 2 peice, master A engraved. Silver, aftermarket one peice ivory w/scrim, armory B engraved, my initials as s/n
Here is the silver plated 45 USFA. Pix is the best I can do.
Sent you a message w/ art attached, or www page where you can see essentially the same. Only dif is that I ordered the absolute whitest Ivory I could get. The art work is tiny dots filled in with ink. You can post it if you like, but I opted for the safe side. The artist who actually did mine was KDH, as near as I can make out the initilas. It was done through Nutmeg Sports.
When I came out of the massage room, your CasCity guru.. Marshal Halloway.. was standing in the kitchen.. with his shorts on, white socks.. no shoes.. and his holsters and new guns strapped on... whistling the theme song of Clint Eastwoods, "The Good, The Bad and The Ugly ( believe me ... he was all 3) ::) :D :D :D
I'm surprised that the guns have any ivory left on the grips. :-\
He has handled them and twirled them and played Cowboys and Indians here all evening..
***sighhhhhhhhhhhh***.... Is it ever going to be MY TURN to be the Cowboy and get to fast draw and play with the guns??
And why do you ALWAYS get to be Marshal Dillon and I ALWAYS have to be Miss Kitty. >:([/b]
Got me one of them thar Panasonic Lumix digital camera things, what has a color cee-lector on an option menu.
;D

Great lookin' outfit, Trooper224. ;) Where'd you get the leather?
Guys, I may need some help with posting photos.

This is my US Pre-War and Bianchi Lone Star of Texas rig. (Thanks Kid Cavalier
Dan
Thanks, the leather was made by Tombstone Leather out of San Diego. I have a matching holster for the longer barreled Colt. I've had the rig for about ten years and I believe Tombstone is now out of business.
Hey OK Tom, I LOVE your 41!! Is it a USFA Pre war or SA? I've been thinking about a 41 myself. I have a few questiosn if you don't mind.....Do you reload for it? WHat bullets do you use?

Frank,
Been following your saga here, on the USFA forum board, and at DJ's. You stated that USFA has no record of you gun, yet it is featured on their own web site. On the USFA web site go to the "Products" Menu, then select "Custom Shop," then select "Fit & Feel." Scroll down to the part where they show the gold inlay. The ivory grips in the picture easily identify the gun as being the one you now own.
Don
Kid,
That is one beautiful SAA! Gary Reeder does some very nice work. What was the turn around time for the project?

i carry it in a custom Milt Sparks HSR basketweave holster with matching belt, loaded it with 265 gr Cast Performance WFNGC on top of 8.5 unique.

I got one about two months ago from Gunbroker
Mine's 45 in Nickel , BP frame & SAA hammer & one piece walnut grips
I like the 3 1/2 " length
I've seen his work before. He really does a beautiful job. Does he need the whole gun or just the grip frame? You have to send him the gun. He's a perfectionist. Just the kind of guy I like working on my guns.
recent John Adams Sr. 45s all blued.
