Make the topic title descriptive
« on: July 24, 2020, 01:45:35 PM »

A good discussion title is a short preview of your post and is what gets people to click and read. A well written title is also going to help search engines better index your post which will bring more people into the discussion. For example, instead of ‘I have a question’, try ‘A question about "fill in the blanks:’.

Thanks, Marshall.  That has always been one of my pet peeves.  Besides your example, the title "Need some help" or "Looking For" always bugs me.

So I'll go ahead an mention another pet peeve.  Someone posts a bunch of pictures.  Someone else quotes them which reposts all those pictures, then adds something like a one sentence comment.

These things used to be more of a problem when we all had dial-up modems and other slow service, but still...
