I don't have a Savage, but I have, a Steyr 08-32, a Ruby, a Beretta M35, and a Mauser 1914.

I like that nickel plated Savage!
Me too! Especially since it was a gift from a friend! It would be one of the very last guns I'd ever part with for that very reason

I wish there was a green eyed emoji that was drooling, because I would be using it right now. You should bring it to use in the EEM. I'd love to see it.

I too am fond of the little Savages. Here are mine:

Just got back from the banquet and Awards Ceremony. Great bunch of folks and several of my posse mates won awards. We had an absolutely great posse. Everyone has already requested to posse together again next year! I did not get my Clean Match, that was my personal goal, but shot better than expected timewise, and at least wasn't dead last!
If you have never been, this is a great shoot.

Having overloaded--with BP!--a repro 45 Colt, I'm looking for the "right" 44 Special.  Uberti, black powder frame, with 4 click hammer.  I'll find one someday.

Probably right after I've spent all my money for the day, but I will find one!

(Trying to remember where I recently saw a 1903 Colt for reasonable money, just in case I ever need trade bait for one of you guys.  ;D )

Been looking for a 20" Rossi 92 in .357 for a bit. Found one yesterday and traded for it. Been wanting one for my g'nephew to learn with, they are heavy enough that recoil from 38s is like a 22, and light enough for an 11 year old to handle well. These things have been like hen's teeth to find! This one even has a decent looking stock finish on it. Pics later!

For what it's worth, 9 grains of 4227 under a 158 grain lead bullet in .38 special seems to be just as pleasant to shoot as 4 grains of TrailBoss, and might be a tad more accurate.
