That's on my calendar.

Lt. Colonel Sir
I'm glad to hear that you are going to have a shoot this year. I'll be there.
-
Be a pleasure to have both of you
-
I'll see if I can talk Hawkeye Hefner into going...…….sounds like fun!
-
Hope you can make it
-
It's on my calendar and I don't think I should have to worry about wedding, babies or any of the other stuff that sometimes gets in the way of things I want to do.
-
I'll make sure Sam Perfye knows about it, he is talking like he's going to go to Drydock's in March with me.

I think I've heard THAT story somewhere before!
October at Raccoon Forks should be really nice for a shoot, and I guarantee that Lt. Colonel Quickfire and his minions (Major BNS), will work their tails off to make it an enjoyable shoot! Hope to see you all, and some others there.
-
Good news. Glad you're doing this. I'll mark the calendars.
-
Will attend, percussion pistol/rifle one in the same 1855 Dragoon.

Sounds great, Dusty.

Uh OH! I may have to worry about a baby messing things up after all. Youngest daughter is due that day. At this point I AM still planning to attend, but....
-
Jack,
Looks like I'll be able to make it.

Great, Yuma
-
Getting close to the shoot! The cook, me, would like a rough head count for meal planning. I would hate for Yuma to have to go hungry!

We will have the pleasure of meeting Mini Drydock, EXCELLENT! Now we need the General to strongarm his offspring.

I assume that this will involve the untimely death of another Turkey Vulture!!!

Sorry, It came to me in a vision and I had to do it.

Well, I guess if my chief of staff is bringing his dog robber I'll have to bring mine as well

Excellent news General! Our last cowboy shoot this Sunday may start with a little snow on the ground and low 30 degree temps. A fire might feel pretty good. What sort of weather will mother nature bless us with on the 19th? I may switch from pulled pork and cowboy beans to chili.
-
What range is the precision rifle and pistol stuff shot at? It would be nice to sight in previous to the Muster.

Lie to him so the rest of us have a chance! ;) ::) Oh wait, I probably still wouldn't have a chance.
-
Ned, the precision pistol will be 5 shots at 25 yards on official target. It will be incorporated into a skirmish. Precision rifle will be 15 shots at 100 yards using appropriate targets to mimic 100 200 and 300 yards.
-
Are the rifle target armor steel? Also, will 100 rounds of rifle ammo cover everything?
-
We will have the pleasure of meeting Mini Drydock,
Donnie is rather larger than I, FYI.
-
The targets are AR 500 steel. 100 rounds of rifle ammo should be plenty unless you miss a whole lot, which you never do
-
Maybe he could break something? He's good at that too . . .
-
Jack,
What's the round count for Scout class?

Is this information all still correct? I'll bring our entry fees Saturday. Jack are you camping Friday night? I can't but am wondering how early I can arrive.
-
I should be there sometime Friday afternoon.
-
I'm hoping to arrive 6:30-7 pm Friday.
-
I believe Quickfire is planning arriving early on Friday and spending the night.
-
Jack,
What's the round count for Scout class?
John I counted 47 targets when I was at the range today, not saying all of them will be used. A fine rifle shot such as yourself should not need a whole lot of extra skirmish ammo. You will need 15 rounds for precision rifle.

Jack, that was a fun Muster, even if a couple of us DID get lost getting there! Perfect weather and good people to shoot with.........hard to beat that!
-
Thank you sir. It was a pleasure seeing all of you again
-
It was just the right combination of target difficulty and movement within each stage. Well thought out and downright fun!
The noontime supper was excellent, too.
Thank you Jack and Mike, and Miss Theresa, for your joint efforts.

Thank all of you attendees for supporting GAF
-
Thank you to Lt. Col. Quickfire and Major Scotty as well as his better half Miss Theresa!
I really enjoyed the match! My Dog Robber J. Dawg commented how much he enjoyed the match and for the first time in his life he out shot the old man! (but then I think everybody did!)
It was a beautiful day, and an interesting and well run match. I'm looking forward to the next one!

Great company, good food, and fine shooting. Along with perfect weather, a scenic range, and the most elegant outhouse you will ever drop your drawers in. Excellent!
-
Once again Jack, Mike and Theresa served up a good time good friends and good food. I know it's a lot of work to put a shoot on and I would like to say THANK YOU.

Let me add a special thanks to Whiskey Double for the loan of a box of ammunition when it became apparent mine was going to give me trouble in the rifle. I am constantly humbled by the generosity of fellow shooters in this sport in general.
It was greatly appreciated.
