;D This is a proper Richards ejector, yes, the Kirst is kinda close, and would be sufficent for the intended purpose, just think a proper one would look better, and add a certain amount of cool factor to make them different.

 :)Knarley  ;)

And here I thought you were lamenting recent acquisition.  A little judicious rubbin-n-buffin and the old brassies will run just fine.

 :) Hey Bob!!  ;)

You think eBay is expensive??  Trip on over to the VTI Web Site and price out a NEW frame (if they even sell one).  The various parts breakdowns may well list the frame but I've never heard of anyone getting one from the Majors or VTI.

Play with your Brassies.  They'll play just fine.

I don't understand why they are useless items. Is there a problem with them?

It has been a long time since I messed with them. And like a fish caught a long time ago tends to still grow, the problems with these pistols did also. They weren't nearly as bad as I remembered. One has been re-assembled into a functioning gun, and the other will be also, as soon as I find the parts I put somewhere where they won't get lost. So all is not lost, looking forward to getting them "dirty" again.

Kid
I remember how I learned to drive a manual shift.  It consisted of being told how to do it, then being turned loose in an A&P grocery store parking lot.
Oh I forgot to mention the fully articulated snow plow on the front, the foot of snow in the lot I was supposed to push to the corners, the light poles to avoid and this had to be done before the store opened!  Somehow the poles, the truck (clutch, transmission, body and all) and me all survived and I came out a “clutcher”.  Oh, and this was done at around 3:00 AM, while snowing, and I was only 18.  Needless to say traffic laws were not even on my mind ;D.

Right now the only pistol primers they have is Winchester, although those are 20% less than Federal.  I've been buying from Natchez since they allow a max of 10K versus 2K at Brownells.  Spreads out the hazmat and shipping charges (and I'm shooting 4 matches a month).
