Morning all.

Currently 55 and sunny today. Supposed to get a little warmer, but not a lot.

Went down and talked to the owner of the septic place, and got the double thumbs up, so I’ll probably be starting there tomorrow.

Good Morning!

Made biscuits and sausage gravy for supper last night. It was a hit with the family. I used good ol' Jimmie Dean's Sage Sausage, and as a bit of a twist, added a jar of Alfredo sauce to the gravy. Enough to have it for breakfast this morning.

My wife was explaining to the grandson that biscuits & gravy was food that all Grandpa's cowboy friends liked. Kinda made it sound like it was what we ate that gave us our secret powers . . .

Slim, went to the grocery store, big boss man was working again, asked him if they were short on help and he said no, Sat is their busy day and he works one of the stores every Sat so he could fill in if he had to.  I just love our local chain.

Afternoon all.

Currently 49 and raining in western Montana.

The septic company job it going well. They’re going to try and find the money to get me my CDL, which will come with a raise.

Roo, finally made it to Axmen south of town today. Very low inventory right now. I inquired about selling my 280, but they weren’t interested.

I’ll stir some coals.

My evening has consisted of some work on writing, and cooking dinner.  I forgot to mention earlier that I bought a new cast iron pan today. It’s a Lodge 10” pan. Inaugurated it with a good hot water wash, followed by a coat of vegetable oil and a half hour in the oven at 450. Then it got to sear some pork and go into the oven for a while at 350 with pork, carrots and butter. As I write, it is cooling down, awaiting another bath and coat of oil.

Also the stuff I was writing is going well. ::)

Hey Kid, what did you finally do about your truck ?

I’ve been driving it for the moment. I’m waiting to get a few paychecks under my belt before I do much with it. For now it’s getting me around fine.
