I have 2 pounds of the 4227. My original intent was to use it as a "duplex" load for black powder, but that has not happened yet, and may or may not actually happen. I also have Unique, TiteGroup, Longshot, and HP38 so if I run out of Trailboss It's no big deal.

TL, just curious...did the mold for the original bullet have grease grooves? This sounds like something I'd like to try as I have a few of the 1901 version and an Army/Navy model in 38 Colt.

Yep, range day! I wish it had involved a little shooting but it amounted to taking delivery of our new kitchen range, the last of the appliances needed for a significant renovation we've been working on since last summer. I'm doing all the work myself, and I'm slower than molasses, but it's turning out well.
Suffice it to say, I'm long overdue for a REAL range day! Sheet rocking is no substitute for shooting, trust me!

That's cause I'm a fathead! Fits right, so I think it will work. I told the Missus she would only have to be seen in public with me at CAS matches' banquets, whereupon she replied, "You DO have other hats, don't you?" Who knows, this might make her buy me a new Stetson!
