I sold my only Mauser Broomhandle over 10 years ago and forget I still had a Mauser Model 1896 Handbook. I found in in the cabinet and will send to the first person who wants it. The book is free; I just ask that you send back the postage cost if it ends up costing more than two dollars to mail (Large envelope first class mailing cost have really gone up in price).
It's a nice 35-page booklet with a lot of good information if you haven't seen one.

As for the C-96 Mauser, I just couldn't get the hang of loading the charger clip into the pistol and shooting it comfortably. Decided to stick with 1911's and P-08's.

Wow! I'd love that booklet, if it hasn't already been claimed.  I'll send a PM.

It's all yours, Coal Creek Griff. If you are not fast on the range, at least your fast on the keyboard  :) .
I'll send the book out later this week.

I'm pretty fast with my C96 too! On the other hand, both the bullets and the brass disappear to parts unknown...

Thanks again!
