Heh, you haven't seen me mad. Maybe a tad annoyed, but not mad.

Yuppies have to by law drink lattes, I don't like milk in my coffee.  Yuppies drive 4WD's that ain't got no gravel chips in the wheel wells, I'd have the paint gone the first week. :o :o :o

Yuppies don't like Polka, I do.   Yuppies don't pick their nose at the stop lights, I do if I can't blow the boooger out. ::) ::)  Yuppies don't listen to Ian Tyson, I am now. ;D

What the heck?
Aprons and mulberry and annexes and hatchets.

Annie Lee MUST be a red-head!!
:-X  ;D

Slim

:P To you both! I was born a strawberry blonde, but that quickly changed to blonde and most of my life it's been "dishwater" or "mousey" blonde. So I can't make any claims to being a red head.

:D

As for Del and his annexations....

Wanting possessions for the sake of having them is the trait of a YUPPY.

Delmonico, I've been in Virginny 6yrs and sum months(6yrs and sum too long) I have been to the big city twice(Alexandria) Both times to see Ole'Ian (also the title to his latest CD) It was 98%Yuppies there, and a couple cutting horse trainers and self....They claim 95% of his listeners couldn't tell you which end of a horse gets up first.... Not that I have any disrespect for Mr. Tyson and have all his CD's... If you like Polka's try Wylie and the wild west also.

So I hereby declare with in the Town Limits of Delmonico City the following:
Monday thru Wed...Tip the piano player at the Longbranch
 Thurs Karaoke nite
Fri Live music and no cover for the ladies
 Sat Live Music
Sunday is Polka day everyone is welcome (featuring Polka joe as MC) but Delmonico will sit in occassionally
No Yuppies allowed, so park them Lexuss outside of town
Weapons will be checked at the door if you ain't packin' will loan you one

That was all west of us an hour or two, but the local stations went to emg. mode and was showing it up close, looked a bit nasty.  Most likey get a better report in the morning, was a couple touch downs and some baseball sized hail, but don't seem like it was real nasty.

I seen one yesterday with Birkenstocks, shorts a Nebrasskey Looneyveristy feets ball jerseety on and a leather Beret.  I keept my distance and made sure not to turn my back to him.  I was afraid I'd get whooped with it and he'd say,  "I'm a friend of Annie Lee." ;D

Fer-got to tell you buck, it's a good thing that tornado I tolt ya about was North-west of Dannabrog, if it would have hit down-town Dannabrog it could have destroyed "The International Liars Hall of Fame" which is localted along on wall of the bar.

A sorta friend and a well known Nebraskan author started it.  Roger Welsh who used to do "Post Cards From Nebraska" on the Sunday morning Charles Karult show.  His books include, "Old Tractors and the Men Who Love Them", "It's Not the End of the Earth", but you can see it from here.  And of course his famous "Digging in and Pigging Out", a mans guide to food.  Any are a good read.

He is also the inventor of Roger Welsh's Famous Catfish bait and sandwhich spread.  The idea is sound, everything will taste like catfish bait any way so why bother carrying two jars. ;D

:P

On the way home from the shoot yesterday, I stopped at a nursery for a big planter and some ground cover plants.

I was wearing my boots, circle skirt and underdress. She was wearing khaki pocket pants and peeking out from her bandana were blonde dreadlocks. She might have been wearing birkenstocks.  Her companion sales lady wanted to sell me flox. Flox is a big seller in this area; all the yuppy farms have flox in the yards. Ms. Pocketpants shook her head and took me to the Vibernum. As we walked, she said, "You didn't look like a flox kind of person."

I bought the Vibernum. Be wary of appearances, a kindred spirit may be inside there.

I wore dreadlocks but every time  I turned my head one of the beads would swing around and hit me in the eye. They are now damaged and I must wear specticals.

Why thank you Litl Rooster, I 'ppreciate that.

My favorite album that a friend loaned me to introduce his music to me:  Gypsy Songman.  My second favorite is his live album that he recorded at Gruene, Texas mostly because I love Gruene.  ;D

No, his aptly titled CD: "Live from Gruene Hall".

I really should rate it so highly but I like it because of where it was recorded.  It was released in 1989.  Since I can't find my CD right now, I can't tell you when it was recorded.  ::)
