25F here, hit a pot hole this weekend not bad though, passed out Sat morning, just a minute or so, stopped Rita from calling 911 and took the kid to work (Her first driving after knee surgery).  She dropped me off at the ER about 1pm and picked me up about 11pm.  I was tested, prodded, blood draws, IV, X rays, EKG and all that, conclusion was a BP drop, did a med change and today all the numbers look good, pulse is a bit high yet, but better, that was the goal of the first med changes.  Feel good, no fainting when coughing, I think we are making progress as long as I don't scare Rita to death.  Woke up with dog licking me, trying to get me up by pulling on my arm and doing his Lassie imitation, "Timmy fell in the well again." ;D

Like Slim said, glad to hear the good report Del. It got up to 48 here today and sunny. Went and picked up a couple of guns that were shipped in today and it was a really nice surprise. Both are beautiful with beautiful actions. I was planning on using them for trade, but I think that plan has gone out the window.

Uberti El Patrons, they have Wolff springs in them and the triggers are perfect. Original plan was to keep one as a spare and swap the other for a 44-40, but now I may have to push the 44-40 plan back a bit.

Went to Cosco, picked up kid, went and picked up Rxs and a couple other tasks, carried stuff in.  O2 96, PR is 80 and BP is 102 over 65, would like a little more on top but not bad.  See reg Dr for more blood tests and physical on Tuesday, regular yearly one.

Evening Y'all,Sunday at the gunshow was a bust, had freezing rain in the early am and the parking lot was a skating rink. If 100 people came through all day it was a lot. Primer prices were crazy,One dealer was asking $160.00/1000 for Federal Lg Rifle match primers.I'm still good for now, but will probably need some small pistol primers by the end of the year.Hoping they are more readily available by then.

Morning y'all.
Coffee and tea are ready.

'Tis 20 and cloudy. "Cloudy with a chance of snow showers in the morning  then partly sunny with a chance of flurries in the afternoon. Nearly steady temperature in the lower 30s. Light and variable wind. Chance of snow 20 percent."

Morning all.

Weather is a bit dreary today. 25 with freezing rain. Roads are bad, so the bosses pushed the whistle back to 10am when it’s supposed to start warming up a bit. The one boss’s daughter sent her new car (2010 Subaru) into the ditch right there in their driveway, and dad couldn’t even get his truck up to it to pull her out.

I have a new holster coming in the mail today for my 1911. Hopefully the UPS truck doesn’t meet a similar fate.

Just before bedtime here, still 42 degrees, supposed to hit 70 tomorrow, then the bottom drop out on the temps around here for the weekend. Oh well, it is January. Gotta take the Missus' Santa Fe for an oil change tomorrow morning, so gonna hit the sack. Y'all be good, you know how you are!

I made a trip to the friendly LGS, an impromptu note on the door stated
" Closed due to Illness, sorry for the inconvenience "
These days one assumes "Covid" omicron version,  :-\    :(  but, I have no knowledge for sure. I wish them a speedy recovery.

Annual Osceola Trail Ride opened this morning,

Evening all. I’ll stoke the night fires.

Weather was a mixed bag today. Some areas were covered in freezing fog all day, while others got up to 40 degrees.

New holster went well. I carried the midget 1911 all day with nary a hiccup. It functioned as intended.

I spent my work day down in the bitterroot valley today (working between Victor and Hamilton, if Roo is reading). Nice area, but nobody knows how to install a septic tank down there. I guess it keeps my paychecks flowing regular though.
