Finally got the Ferguson 30 back. Runs a lot better than it did, because he rebuilt the carburetor.

'Tis sn*wing. Supposed to get 2.5"

Good morning.
37℉, rocketing to a high of 49℉ today.
Coffee is on. Hot oatmeal with blueberries, and bacon.

Wife and I receive our second vaccination shot today. (Pfizer)

Good morning Gents , thanks for the coffee,  I chased it down with an Everything topping bagel...

In other news, I have to say my interest in firearms is Eclectic  :)
Steel & wood or occasional hard rubber, Bakelite grips on pistols .... I have but one Poly-gun in my SIG 365 carry.

From 1860's to WWII and old western arms and some unique European capture/bring backs.

Recently I acquired a somewhat rare pistol in this country, though a few were imported in late 70's.

This is my near mint MAB PA 15 ( Manufacture d'armes de Bayonne  Pistolet Automatique 15 )
The founder of MAB, Léon Barthe began producing Pistols in South of France in the 1920's , The Germans occupied and ran the factory during WWII. After World War II, his son Jean took over the company, and within a few years MAB began to produce a number of new pistol designs.
The P-15 was their first effort at building a service pistol for serious police and military use.
In trials the well made offering competed for Frances Military contract , besting The Browning High Power's 13 round capacity.
The gun did win a military Finish contract , and goodly number were purchased by the French Air Force and some Special Forces.
However, the MAB PA 15 ( 15 rounds ) lost out to the Beretta 92 in special "made is France " factory contract. Ownership wound up being a subsidiary of Fabrique Nationale of Herstal sometime in the 1970s.

The gun is completely machined from forged billet steel , no castings , 9MM Para , a Target model and Commercial version were also produced...
This one is a M1 military issue, manufactured in 1971-2 no import marks.

Heavy @ 3 lbs loaded ( 15 round Magazine + 1 in the tube ) it is a tack driver, as recoil is minimal.

30 round Magazines are available, but I don't see me getting one...

Nice.
The slide kinda looks like a High Power.

I got a package from MidwayUSA with 6 bottles of Lee Liquid Alox and shell holders for .32-20. Now, I am set to load for my Colt Police Positive Special.

Evening all.

Weather was remarkably warm today, in the low 60s. Work was pretty usual, with the exception of starting an hour early.

Since we’re talking about plastic guns, I bought a Ruger Max-9 last night. They just released it, and it’s a competitor to the P365. Got it for $430. I pick it up Monday, once it makes it’s way through to the FFL

Is that an S/A pistol, M-2? Or DA/SA. Controls look 1911 like, but it appears to have a rotating barrel lockup?

Site sore on arm, otherwise feeling good. Ditto the better half. (Maybe a tad bit tired, but at my age being tired is a defining trait. I wake up a bit tired.)
Any negative effects more than offset with positive excitement getting ready for the road trip to the NCOWS Convention.

I know many are still being cautious about pandemic and choosing not to go, and that is absolutely the right thing to do. No need to take chances.

Roger, I know a large part of your decision to not go is founded in that loss. Time will replace that emptiness with good memories.

Many of our Pards seem to come as a matched set when traveling to these events. Like Salt 'n' Pepper shakers, it completes the table setting. I am very thankful for Yuma Kid, and I know the large amount of gentle razzing he receives from me masks my deep appreciation of his company.

We will see you down the trail soon.

One time only deal on Covid shot on Friday,, Echo thing showed the problem graft area is up to 40% from 35% in June, may get better, may not, but workable.

Is it going to be the Johnson & Johnson one shot?
And don't give the medical volunteers too hard a time . . .

Moderna?   Got home and have an offer to try and get appointment for Pfizer one, will stick with the sure thing.

Dr visit went well, labs look decent, echo gram thingy says the bad chamber went up to 40% from 35% wanted better but will take it.
