Here are my current two, but I am looking for another. The second photo is the bottom rifle in the first photo with it's clothes on.

My CGH marked 1873: I'm trying to authenticate it by finding my serial number among the Citizens Guard of Hawaii records at the Hawaii State Archvies, in an effort to replicate the research done by John A. Bell.  Wish me luck.

Nice job! Thanks! I have, ahem, a lot of guns, but my Uberti 1873 is my favorite reproduction. It's a fine gun.

Gotta agree with Griff.  I have at least one of every model, Henry to '95 and my favorite is a '73 carbine.

Nice, I really like the looks of that carbine next to the 22 rifle. That's one thing on my bucket list as I've never owned an original 73 carbine. Came real close to buying one a couple years ago.

I have had several SRC's, each time trying to find one in better condition. I think I can stop with this one, it is a real nice one in 38-40 which is scarce in the 1873 SRC lineup...

This is it next to an experimental Whitney Kennedy "S" lever 45-60...

I never considered myself a failure...I started out at the bottom and happen to like it here!

Thank's Abilene , I do not own a musket , and probably never will . Unless I ever run across a 1873  Spanish contract musket   and I doubt that will happen . ,,,DT

Maybe  if I find the right 73 that is damaged or stripped / parts  . But right now in the middle of a Plain's Rolling Block build  in 50-70 , have plenty to do .,,,DT

Okay, got another Cimarron.  My five Cimarron Uberti toggle link rifles (one is a '66) are in 5 different calibers, so this is the first time I got another in a same caliber.  It is a .357.  Last few years I'm shooting my circa '97 SRC with .38's lots more and I decided to get a spare.  At least that is the rationale  :)  Actually, the carbine has never let me down, but it will actually become the backup and this new one will be the go-to rifle.  It is a lot stiffer out of the box than most new Ubertis I've handled even after I "adjusted" the springs which works great on my others.  So this one is going to a pro for a super-slick action job and will be my "gamer gun"   :) .  It will be the first time I've ever handed off a rifle to someone else for an action job.  Skill aside, I'm at a point where I've got more money than time.

I decided on the 18" octagon checkered straight stock.  Cimarron calls it a saddle rifle.  They had only a few in stock for quite a while, so I was biding my time until they got a shipment in so I would have a better chance at good wood.  So a couple months ago they got in a dozen, and one of my few remaining contacts at Cimarron went through them all to pick me the best one.  Thanks, Chip!

Nice rifle Abilene!  That is one I have thought about buying a few times.  I like how they set back the rear sight to take advantage of a longest sight radius on the short rifles...and the straight stock with checkering.

My last one was a Winchester SCR.   I have to hide my wallet once or twice a month to keep from buying another '73.   I really don't need more toggle guns  ::)

With these guns, my response from the other side of the counter was always "what's need got to do with it?"   :)

Here’s my Spanish or is it a Centennial? It has a split personality I guess.
