Harrington & Richardson 404 SXS

Anyone know anything about these? Looking at a 20 gauge that has been cut down. Action seems smooth and its in great condition!

I know a bit ...they were serviceable flied grade shotguns.
 Sold at the entry level prices at Hardware stores mostly, and maybe catalogs Montgomery Ward and Sear Roebuck perhaps others.

Stout box locks made good truck rack , and behind the kitchen door grab a shot guns.

For a short while in the 60's H&R imported Rossi doubles and rolled the Harrington & Richardson logo on them.

Needed parts however will be found on someone else's gun.
