Shoulder rigs

I'm thinking of going 'Steam Punk' and it strikes me that a shoulder rig would give style points.
Trouble is, I'm a short ass and I like my 7-1/2" barrel Open Tops.
Thoughts, Pics? Comments?

For a longer barreled gun, I'd suggest a skeleton rig for ease of draw and reholster.

The Doc Holiday/Tombstone style shoulder rigs work well with long barrelled revolvers. Just neet to be aware of the 170 plane when drawing and re-holstering.
