Morning y'all.
Coffee and tea are ready.

Quote from: Delmonico on Yesterday at 06:09:05 PMSlim, I got 2 miles north of town and turned around and came back. https://www.klkntv.com/wind-kicks-up-dust-around-lincoln-reducing-visibility/?fbclid=IwY2xjawKUpIhleHRuA2FlbQIxMQBicmlkETFwWFhGdzR6a1BJWHUwaE90AR4uGV96YDqTJRVLQpvAWAAsxX9Y0DWTkjc1v9DwkuNvPRzC81AZMbWprbsfWw_aem_0_RpOw0k_Um0f0cVZ294Tw
We had a lot of wind yesterday also. Temp was 80 before the front came thru, dropped to 69.

The Central Wisconsin Conference track meet was at Wild Rose, yesterday. Sackett was in:
4x800 - 1st place
3200 - 3rd place with a time of 13.12 min
High jump - 2nd place with a jump of 5'6"

Wild Rose won which is the team Sackett is on.

Rained overnight.

'Tis 55 and overcast. "Blustery. Cooler. Cloudy. A chance of showers in the morning  then a chance of sprinkles in the afternoon. Highs around 60. West wind 15 to 25 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent."

Quote from: Major E A Sterner on Yesterday at 06:47:39 PMBuffalo Bore is great ammo, I'm sure you'll like it.

Ain't got much choice, I gave away most of the reloading equipment. I need to get the stuff for brothers 650 and he will load 32 mag for me.  He's just going to load for both of us on the single for Hornet. Not like I'm going to shoot a lot with it. More likely sit and wait.  ;D

Quote from: RoyceP on Yesterday at 07:41:02 PMI have a couple pounds of Dupont IMR 4227 (not the more recent Hodgdon version), in 44 WCF I find it is just OK - often there is unburned powder kernels. In 357 Magnum it works very well but in lower pressure cartridges it tends to be dirty.  Note - it may work better in rifles, my testing has been in several revolvers.

Yes, in my chart above, anything faster than IMR-4227 would be best used in revolvers while anything between IMR-4227 and Reloder 7 is best used in rifles.

IMR-4227 is what I used for the High Velocity strong action rifle loads, where it burns and performs best!

Thanks for the report. Glad to hear that the repeater match came off. Looked like weather was headed your way about that time. I was hoping to be on the line with you, but when our campsite was under 3 feet of water earlier this week I decided to save my vacation time. Might not have been the best decision I ever made. But, I have 100 rounds of 56-50 and 100 56-56 ready for the next skirmish.

Nice score, Del.
My wife had to drive home a half hour in that wind today.  She was exhausted when she got home.
