*I nexpensive* Cavalry Boots
« on: August 17, 2012, 10:48:01 AM »
Hi,

I know that 'inexpensive' and cavalry boots don't go together, but I thought I would get rid of about half my thread inputs right off the bat ...

First, if Fort Western made a cavalry boot (klnda), know that I would go there first ... but I was told to post a note hear and start a thread to see if such a thing actually existed.

I am looking at a Cavalry looking boot ... preferably with non leather soles and no taps ...something with a Cavalry boot front but the 'comfiness' of a Boulet style boot.

IS there such a thing?
My moniker is my great grandfather's name. He served with the 2nd Florida Mounted Regiment in the Civil War. Afterward, he came home, packed his wife into a wagon, and was one of the first NorteAmericanos on the Frio River southwest of San Antonio ..... Kinda where present day Dilley is ...
