Yep. It was used for the "grass" grains (wheat, rye, oats, barley, etc.).

Then they come along and hooked up a cutter and a thrasher all in one, combination cutter, thrasher, self propelled, and call it a combine.   You may thank that loaf of bread in your bread box to the modern combine.

They also cut rice Slim, you ain't lived until you stuck some big cane tires on a combine and drove it off into a rice paddy....

Actually, that's Milt, the cornfused pilgrim who moved West and decided to be a turkey rancher. At the last Pepper Mill Creek Gang's shoot, we had to save Milt and Milt's Thanksgiving from a bunch of turkey rustlers, The Heckler Gang, cranberry poachers, and pie thieves. This particular Milt is after he got shot.

Well, that 'splains it. The other night I was showing my better half some of the threads and she commented on it. She thought it had a Pilgrim hat on. She was right!

Kind of. Random means you never know what is going to be said next, nor the direction of the conversation. It's..... random.
