They're so much fun I've gotten nine of them over the years, from 38 Special Serial no. 10, one 357, 3 45s. 3 44s and a parts to build up gun. Somehow I can just never seem to part with a gun. ;D

The lock work seems stronger on an 1875 Rem than a Colt SAA .. I am a fan :)

I love my pair of 7 1/2" barrel ,44-40"s,  especially with slimmer aftermarket grips.

I shot one for about ten years.  It occasioned some muzzle damage and was shortened to 5 1/2", replaced the front sight at the same time so it shot to POA.  Didn't like BP loads, but with a smokeless load that duplicated the original load, it was a great gun.  I always liked the web under the barrel, it gave me confidence that the ejector would be protected if I wrapped it around some miscreant's head!
In my book a pioneer is a man who turned all the grass upside down, strung bob-wire over the dust that was left, poisoned the water, cut down the trees, killed the Indian who owned the land and called it progress.  Charles M. Russell
