Coffee and tea are ready.

I have a 1909 Colt New Service in  .45 Colt. Micah used it for the Grand Muster EEM.

Good morning all and Happy Canada Day to my friends up North. Just found out work is covered today, so I get to take it off. Might see if the Missus wants to take a ride to a hobby shop about an hour from here, but doubtful. Letting her sleep in on a hot Saturday, already 88 degrees, heading for 100 again.

And I'm drinking coffee.

Anyway hope everyone has a great day.

Yesterday broke 100 for the first time, and we’re scheduled to keep doing so for the next week.

Y’all keep hydrated.

Hit 99 this afternoon down here in the Sunshine state.

Howdy all, "only" 96 here today, looks like a Thunderstorm is coming in. Temps are supposed to drop to normal this week, upper 80s and low 90s with rain most of the week. Good day at church today, we have an afternoon instead of an evening service on Sundays, so we got done came home and took a nap. If I get really enthused I might work on some grips for my 1860 RM. You guys have a good one.

72 and pouring rain, I've had to pump out my Garage/Basement 4 times so far today.Supposed to let up some tomorrow and for the 4th Sunny with a high of 83. Next weekend is the Matamoras Mavericks 3 day shoot in Pa. Friday is sunny, but Sat & Sun look to be cloudy,I'll bring my slicker with me to hopefully ward off the evil rain spirits.

While you're warding them off, tray and scare them down Missouri way. We could use a couple inches!

Good morning folks. 84 here right now, supposed to be 93 today, so we seem to be back to normal as far as the temperatures go. Rain forecast off and on for the next 10 days, we can use it, but hopefully will be dry enough to shoot Saturday. Gonna get some more coffee...

Threat of severe rain storms have shut down most 4th fireworks displays in the metro area. That's OK.
Here's a novel way to celebrate the 4th without the whiz-bang of pyrotechnics.
Enjoy The Peace and Quiet that Independence ensured for us. Hug your dogs. Hug your kids. Hug your significant other.
Count your blessings that you still retain all 10 fingers (and toes), and eyesight, and eardrums . . .

It isn't celebrating how we can blow up things. It's about the fact our Nation still survives, that for all its faults, and definitely still a work in progress, we remain an imperfect beacon of hope for many yearning to share the same benefits we enjoy by proclaiming that Independence Day 248 years ago.

Afternoon all.

Currently 98 and not a cloud in the sky.

Been a bit of a long week for me. 3 fires, the last of which required 27 consecutive hours of my two days off. But I saw two bears, so I guess that makes up for the sleep deprivation.  ::)

This morning I went down with Mrs. TK and moved her horse from one place to another. That’s about all from here.

The Pro Fireworks show just had it's Finale.
It is grand 45-minute or so show, about 1 mile east on the lake.
I can sit out on the pool deck and take it all in, a pleasant 82 degrees.
