We "filthy few" who own & operate a well-functioning Spencer can only pity the gray mass of regular, main-stream lever-action shooters...;  They will never know the sensation of euphoria one gets when one's Spencer FINALLY (!) runs through a full magazine of stubbies "slicker than an eel in a bucket of snort"..! ;D

Ping and port scans show grandarmyofthefrontier.org is “up”
Whois shows it is “supposed to be” in arizona

traceroute show that it is refusing tcp connections.

So we can surmise that it is “comatose” … alive but not talking

The Barracks / Grand Army of the Frontier / medals

I was trying to get onto the Grand Army of the Frontier website at grandarmyofthefrontier.org and I couldn't connect. It was on my phone, so that might be part of the problem, but I'm curious if anyone else is having trouble?

The reason I was looking was to identify which medals we could wear on a uniform, I am seeing a lot of marksmen badges and a few sharpshooter badges, and in a few cases both together. There are some from US volunteers and a lot from the Pennsylvania National Guard.

Howdy Gents
I only have one 'real' Colt. It is a 3rd Generation mod.P in .45 Colt. A few years ago I sent it off for an action job and to have a set of real Elephant Ivories fitted. I don't shoot it a lot as I have a non-Colt or two so I keep it as my BBQ gun. :) I'll attach a picture.
