I remember reading that Pietta was actually making Euroarms guns at one point.
And Pietta parts would supposedly interchange with Euroarms marked guns.
Thats about all I can remember.
I've got a 58 remington that was sold to me as a Pietta about 6 or 8 months ago, and did not take a close look for a while after I bought it, and discovered it was actually marked euroarms on top of the barrel, with no Pietta maker marks.
By the proof house marks, its a mid 1970s made gun.
So I bought it to make it into a cartridge conversion, but now its an open question whether or not its going to work.
Might have to just sell it off and buy a more recent and definitely marked Pietta 58.
Anyone got any experience with this, or knowledge of compatibility?
It only matters whether a drop in Howell 6 shot cylinder will fit and function.
Thought I'd ask here before I bother the guys at Taylors to see what they say.
