Thoughts on 9/11

Eight years ago today, I walked into a gunsmith shop looking to buy some reloading components. The gunsmith was sitting at his work bench with a rifle stock watching TV. I looked up on the TV screen and saw the two towers in New York. A few minutes later I drove home without the components and spent the next hours following this meaningless and brutal attack on the free world.  Lots of things can be said about all this and what has been done to prevent another similar attack. The words from our friend Baxter Black pretty much express what I feel on a day like this and I leave it to him:
