Recent News About Me:
I have only been shooting for a little over a year. The 3rd time I shot was at Land Run in Oklahoma City. I had a blast and we are returning this year. I was shocked and excited to win the 'Best Costume' award at Land Run last year, it's the blue one in my photos.
Rattlesnake Whiz and I have also attended the SASS Family Reunion in Gatlinburg and the Sho-Me-Shoot in Branson Missouri.
6/01/05 - Came in 3rd place in Ladies Modern at the Mississippi State Finals, Smokin' Guns at Rabbit Ridge, and 4th place at the 2005 Land Run. Also won 1st place in the costume contest at Somkin' Guns!

| My Chosen Alias
(The story behind and how I picked it): |
It was very hard for me so come up with an alias. My given name is Dixie (Dixanna) and any combination I could think of with that was already taken.
I came up with Shyanne Sweet, because I am extremely 'Shy' and have been told I am 'Sweet' (although the Rattlesnake, my hubby, doesn't think so when I have to whack him upside the head with my iron skillet to get his attention *grin*) Thus 'Shy-an-Sweet' was born. |

| I currently am using Ruger pistols, a Uberti 73 rifle (my christmas present!) and my husbands old SxS from his youth. BUT I have a new Stoeger Coach Gun on it's way from Brutha Dave, woo hoo! can't wait! |

That sweet little thing on the left is Miss Tika, our baby and the only dog in the world not spoiled rotten, and if you believe that I have the center section of a bridge in Arkansas to sell you! She is wearing her Victorian dress at the SASS Family Reunion in Gatlinburg.
