(The story behind and how I picked it): |
I figured that if Butch and Sundance were more scared of Joe LeFors than anyone that I might as well be one better than Joe Lefors. One better of what you might ask well of everything of course
Joe Lafives started his career as a member of the Hole in the Head gang. He escaped their influence and joined the Army as an Artilleryman rising to the Rank of Captain prior to mustering out. He then spent a time as a professional gambler and even a drover prior to his current profession as a lawman. |

Quite a few Single Actions and Levers but I usually shoot Ruger 3 screw blackhawks- 5" blued cal .357, an 1873 Lever 20" in .357 and a 97. Have been known to shoot Hartford 45's(one from Parson Colt that he used in a Trails End Article), an 1873 in 45. Also shoot a set of Ruger Bisleys in 357 and a set of Ruger Vaqueros in 45 as well.
I've used and recommend Old Pueblo Leather (Rimrock and Mo) in Tucson.
Kirkpatrick (Laredo TX)treats you right too as does W.M. Brown out of Tombstone. |
