| My Chosen Alias
(The story behind and how I picked it): |
| My alias is derived from my given first name and recognition of one of the most colorful photographers of the old west, C.S. Fly. C.S. was active in Tombstone in the 1880's and his studio was located adjacent to the OK Corral. He even participated in the shootout, disarming and tending to Billy Clanton. Besides photographing notables in the area, he also accompanied Gen Crook to his famous meeting with Geronimo. C.S.tried his hand at gold mining, while his wife Mary kept the picture business going. Since C.S. had such varied experiences, I take that as freedom to dress how it suits me, one day a townie, another day a wrangler, gunfighter, Confederate Partisan, or Cuban Revolutionary. |
