My Chosen Alias (The story behind and how I picked it):

Polk Wells was a classic Wild West badman. He was an outlaw for 50 years. He rubbed shoulders with the likes of Jesse James, Younger brothers, Kit Carson, and Wild Bill Hickock. He was intelligent and well-spoken, writing his autobiography in the Penitentiary at Fort Madison IA where he served a life sentence for killing a 73-year old guard during an escape from that facility. Mostly known for train robberies and being chased by famous Detective William Pinkerton. POLK WELLS DEAD On September 11, 1896 there was brought to the Penitentiary at Anamosa from the Fort Madison prison a man around whom lingers only the tale of a depraved life and the memory of years of crime and outlawry. This man was Charles Knox Polk Wells, whose career was ended last Friday by the life sapping enemy of humanity, consumption.
Source: From the Sept. 17, 1896 editions of the Anamosa Journal and Eureka I chose this outlaw due to the people he ran with, crimes he committed and the fact that my father is actually from Fort Madison IA and lived there from birth to 20 yrs old and we still have lots of family there.

My current guns & gear:

I use two new Ruger Vaqueros 45 LCT's in stainless and a 12 ga Winchester "97". My rifle is a Winchester 1873 45 LCT. My rig is custom made by Greg Walters the "Rio Chiquito Kid".
