They pulled it off our CBS channel here after the half and finished with another game.

We are a divided household today. Jim's a Denver fan and daughter Janet's been a KC fan forever.  Cheesy

My wife is a dyed in the wool Bronco fan. I am a lifelong Chiefs fan.

We used to bet $5 between us on the games. Of course, I never was able to collect but I always had to pay up.... Smiley

If anyone is familiar with the Barrel Man, who showed up at all the Denver home games wearing nothing but a barrel (supposedly) and cowboy boots, he died yesterday from cancer at age 69. Made the front page here.

A fellow living in Denver is also a lifelong Chiefs fan. He has been taking hypnosis to cure himself of his Bronco hatred so that he can root for the Broncos.

There is a bar in Denver that has a huge TV screen and plays all the KC games and the KC fans congregate there to watch.

In this morning's Denver Post, two Denver sportswriters picked KC to win and two picked Denver to win. The two picking KC cited their normal month of December home winning record against the Broncos.

I am setting here watching the Chiefs/Bronco game and wondering when KC is going to play football? They look like PooPoo!!!!
I think it is time we stop paying the NFL players big bucks until they prove they want to play. Then I do not think millions a year it right. In the real world none of us get paid that way, we get just enough to make ends meet most of the time.

You're right, Jane.  Noway would I pay to see a game like that, especially when it is the home team that is so bad.

Did you watch the Texas-Nebraska game last night?  Real excitement.
