Janet Harrington

  Daniel H. Hurst, was born December 31st, 1869 in Clinton county Ohio, and came with his parents to Linn county Kansas, in 1871, then to Elk county Kansas, in 1876, where he grew to manhood.  In 1885 he came with his parents to Howard wehre he received his education, in the Howard schools.  Leaving in 1894, after the death of his mother, and for the past four years has been in El Paso Texas, where he was employed as yard forman in the El Paso Lumber Sash & Door factory's yards.
  He was never married and leaves to mourn his loss a father, Keenan Hurst, one brother and two sisters, the eldest Mrs. Louise Garber, now living at Montgomery Alabama, the other Miss Lottye Lee Hurst, at Independence, Kansas.
  Daniel H. Hurst Leaves many friends among his former associates in Howard, more especially the former members of the K. P. Lodge, who were his pall bearers on this occasion.
  Those of the family present are his aged father, Keenan Hurst, his brother C. F. Hurst, and wife, of Dallas Texas, Miss Lottie Lee Hurst, of Independence, Kansas, Robert K. Eaton, and wife and daughter, of Peoria Illinois.
