Sorry that I've been behind on getting these posted!  But I do have the PRIZE WINNERS for the week of March 9-14th!
This was a TOUGH, WELL-LOST week!  We have 3 teams that are neck-in-neck (and who's necks are getting thinner), and quite a few more not far behind (with smaller behinds).

The CASH PRIZE winners for the week are:
120 Wanna Be's

They've lost a total of 6.58% of their beginning weight!

Like I said, although we don't have cash prizes for these teams this week... keep up the hard work and pull through to the end...
Here are the VERY CLOSE runners up...
Famished  6.36%
Achievers  6.25%

The last weigh-in before this one was kind of the plateau week; very few teams lost much/any weight.  But they really kicked in gear this week and continue strong!
Remember; one more weigh-in before the final week!  March 23-28th is the next weigh-in (not prize week, though), and April 6-11th will be the final date!

I'm SO impressed with all the work and dedication each and every member of all Largest Loser teams has shown!

Again congrats to the 120 Wanna Be's and hats off to Famished. You all (can't say guys or gals as I don't know)make good competition.
Tobina are you going to post the actual total pounds each team lost plus the grand total for all teams combined in pounds? Percents are great but I like to see both figures.
Thank goodness Walk Kansas has started as this is getting a tad bit more difficult to see the scales move down. Come on and lets support one another and keep getting healthier. Did notice my BP was lower the last office visit and it usually seems to peek a bit when the yukie stuff is going around. So progress is being made. Smiley
Again Thanks to the Wellness Team for sponsoring this event. The Achievers

Yes, congratulations to ALL the teams!   Grin

Well, there has been some discussion about releasing the pounds lost per team... we've had feedback that some teams don't want that part made public.  But in looking at the weight loss, it's so exciting to see how much weight has been lost!  After last week, the total weight-loss for all teams combined is 388 lbs!  All teams have lost at least 2% of beginning body weight, and the overall average is 3.94%

And you're right, Barbara; the ultimate goal is to get people HEALTHIER!

Three hundred and eighty-eight pounds total for all teams combined....that is a lot by any count or measure!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am so proud of all who worked hard to to take these steps in the right direction. Thanks for posting as so many of our friends and neighbors are asking as a lot are now wishing they would have joined in.  Maybe as soon as Walk Kansas is complete there could be another sort of fun thing to keep the interest alive. By then it will be close to summer time and maybe some get together at area lakes in the evening cool to do a little team walks or games or something...................

Yes, our EK team plans to keep the wellness events rolling on.  We have some ideas, but would welcome any thoughts and suggestions!
