My daughter sent me this recipe today, she said she'd eaten it at the home of her daughter's Mother-in-law, in Illinois, and it was "wonderful."  I've not tried it, but, here it is:

Sweet Potato Casserole
3 cups cooked and mashed sweet potatoes (can used canned)

2/3 cup white sugar

1/4 cup butter, softened

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 cup milk

2 eggs, beaten

1 tsp. salt

1 1/2 cup marshmallow creme

Mash sweet potatoes slightly. Cream sugar and butter. Add eggs and beat well. Add salt, vanilla, marshmallow creme, and beat until all is mixed. Pour into large casserole dish. (Usually grease the dish).

Topping
1 cup packed light brown sugar

1 cup chopped pecans

1/2 cup all-purpose flour

1/2 cup butter, softened

Mix together with pastry blender or fork until blended.  Add to top of casserole. Bake at 350 for approximately 35 minutes.
