Beverly Sue Leffingwell, age 73, of Wichita, Kansas, passed away on June 25, 2020 at Mapleton Assisted Living in Andover, Kansas.  She was born on January 16, 1947 in Richmond, California, the daughter of John E. and Doris (LaPierre) Leffingwell.

After completing high school in Arkansas City, Kansas, Beverly owned and operated a Merle Norman business for 25 years before earning a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Social Work.  She then began working as a social worked for the State of Kansas.

Beverly was a collector of post cards for many years and served as the President of the Wichita Post Card Club.  She enjoyed studying family genealogy, playing Mahjong, and playing card games.  Most importantly, Beverly loved being with her family and grandchildren.

Survivors include two children, Stephanie (Jeffrey) Tauscher-Rank of Harriogate, United Kingdom and Eric Tauscher and companion, Niki Walker of Hoisington, Kansas; two sisters, Rosemary Sentner of Leawood, Kansas and Nancy Shawver of Denver, Colorado; a sister-in-law, Ann Leffingwell of Louisville, Kentucky; three grandchildren, Nathaniel, Jacob, and Jackson Rank; and beloved nieces and nephews.  Beverly was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, John E. Leffingwell, and a daughter, Shannon Irene Tauscher.

Graveside service will be held on Wednesday, July 1, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at the Moline City Cemetery in Moline, Kansas.  Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m to 10:30 a.m. at Countryside Funeral Home in Howard, Kansas prior to the service.  A Celebration of Life reception will be held at 2:30 p.m. at the Marriott in Wichita, Kansas after the graveside service.  Memorials have been suggested to the Botanica Garden of Wichita and may be left with or mailed to the funeral home.  Online condolences may be left for the family online at www.countrysidefh.com.  Services have been entrusted to Countryside Funeral Home, 206 E. Washington, Howard, Kansas 67349.
