Beulah (Fildes) McGlasson-Shaw-Huffman passed away on April 11, 2019 at the age of 98 at Brookside Retirement Community in Overbrook, Kansas.  She was born October 9, 1920 at Las Animas, Colorado, the daughter of Emile H. and Bessie (Kerfoot) Fildes.

Beulah married Bernice McGlasson of Moline, Kansas on August 15, 1938.  They were parents of two sons, William Boyd McGlasson and Herman Loyd McGlasson.  Bernice was killed on June 7, 1952 while working for the REA.  After his death, Beulah moved to Arkansas City, Kansas.  She married Eldon Shaw of Arkansas City on April 16, 1954. 
They  later moved to Newkirk, Oklahoma until his death on April 5, 1999.  In 2000, she moved to Burlingame Senior Apartments.  She married Charles Huffman of Burlingame, Kansas on April 20, 2002.  Charles passed away May 24, 2006.

Beulah enjoyed spending time with family, traveling, playing Bingo, and going to casinos.  She was a life member of the Ladies Auxiliary and a member of the First Baptist Church at Newkirk, Oklahoma.

Beulah is survived by two sons, William Boyd (Marilyn) McGlasson of Auburn, Kansas and Herman Loyd (Connie) McGlasson of Grantsville, Utah; two grandsons, Scott (Liz) McGlasson of Columbus, Ohio and Kirk (Nicole) McGlasson of Frisco, Texas; four great-grandchildren, Sierra, Jake, Morgan, and Jenna; stepdaughters, Lois (Jake) Clover of Arkansas City, Kansas, Marie (Lee) Seastrom of Topeka, Kansas, Betty (Bob) Phillips of Holton, Kansas, and Dorothy (Rodney) Geisler of Topeka, Kansas; several step-grandchildren; sisters, Bonnie Phelan of Kremlin, Oklahoma and Betty Hayden of Wellington, Kansas; and a brother, Darrel Fildes of Ponca City, Oklahoma.  She was preceded in death by her parents;  three husbands; brothers, William Fildes and Raymond Fildes; sister, Darlene Stachura; and grandson, Jay McGlasson.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2019 at 1:30 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Moline, Kansas.  Interment will follow at the Moline City Cemetery in Moline, Kansas.  Memorial contributions may be made to any of the following:  First Federated Church of Burlingame, St. Croix Hospice, or Brookside Retirement Community Activities Fund.  Online condolences may be left for the family at www.countrysidefh.com.  Services have been entrusted to Countryside Funeral Home, 206 E.
