Elk Country Honor Flight Veterans of the Parsons High School hub will have their annual dinner and raffle drawing on Saturday evening, January 19th at the Cox Building in Howard starting at 5:30.  The dinner will be followed by a raffle for a Henry .243 long rifle with a 3X9 Redfield scope.

This rifle and scope were an anonymous gift to the fundraising efforts of the four Elk County Veterans who participated in the 2018 honor flight to Washington, D.C. last May.  These funds will be given to the Parsons High School hub to provide financing for additional area veterans to experience this "once-in-a-lifetime" trip to D.C. so they can visit their memorials.

We want to extend our "heart-felt" thanks to all those individuals and businesses who so generously contributed to these fundraising efforts. A special "Thank You" to the individual who anonymously donated the rifle and scope!

Our special guests will also include staff from of the Parsons High School hub and the seven individuals who have signed up for the May 2019 Honor Flight.
