Larry Lehrman, age 73, of Sedan, Kansas, passed away November 19, 2018 at his home in Sedan.  He was born on October 7, 1945 to Melvin and Eula (Nance) Lehrman in Newton, Kansas.

Larry grew up in Newton and attended school there.  After high school, he enlisted in the United States Air Force and served his country until he was honorably discharged.  He lived in Newton for many years before moving to Sedan, Kansas in the early 1990s.

Larry worked at Wal-Mart in Independence, Kansas for 15 years before retiring in 2016.  He was a member of St. Luke's Presbyterian Church in Newton.  He enjoyed watching TV, collecting guns and knives, and liked working on cars.

Larry is survived by one daughter, Lori Bernd of Wichita, Kansas; one brother, Mark Lehrman of Moline, Kansas; one sister, Sharon Hughes of Howard, Kansas, and two grandchildren, Austin Howe and Dylan Howe of Gypsum, Kansas.  He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Rebecca Kay Lehrman.

A memorial graveside service was held on November 24, 2018 at the Grace Lawn Cemetery in Howard, Kansas.  The family has suggested memorials to the American Heart Association and may be left in care of the Dickens Family Funeral Home, 209 N. Douglas, Sedan, Kansas 67361 which was in charge of arrangements.
