Sharon Louise Sutton, 65, of Augusta, Kansas, passed away June 23, 2017 at her home.  She was born in Miami, Oklahoma on March 1, 1952 to the late Martha (Brown) and Richard Claycamp and was raised by Richard and Mary Claycamp.

Sharon was a sheet metal worker at Learjet for 40 years.  She was a member of the Three Wooden Crosses Church and was active with the youth group.  She was also a member of the Kansas Draft Horse Association.

On May 11, 1991, Sharon married Robert Sutton in Augusta, Kansas, who survives her.  She is also survived by her sons, Kevin Flower and wife, Diana of Wichita, Kansas, Dan Flower and wife, Carrie of Augusta, Kansas, and Frank Flower and wife, Cassi of Maize, Kansas; her stepson, Brandon Sutton of Wichita, Kansas; her stepdaughter, Leslie Clark and husband, Lee of Wichita, Kansas; her brothers, Virgil Claycamp and wife, Kathy of Georgetown, Texas, Bill Claycamp of Howard, Kansas, and David John Claycamp of Joplin, Missouri; her sisters, Thelma Eckstein of Nebraska and Pat Ellis and husband, Ed of Kansas City; her grandchildren, Ashtyn and Eli Flower, Elizabeth, Hadley, and Lily Clark, Bradyn, Brock, and Breckyn Flower, and Toby, Douglas, Katy and Evan Sutton; her mother-in-law, Maurine Sutton of Derby, Kansas; and her sister-in-law, Karen Whorrall. She was preceded in death by her stepbrother, David Whorrall and her father-in-law, Athol Sutton. 

Viewing will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at Headley Funeral Chapel in Augusta, Kansas.  Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 29, 2017 at Three Wooden Crosses, 5118 SW 100th, Augusta, Kansas.  Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery in Augusta.  Memorial donations may be given as gift cards for the Horse Program at Hutchinson Correctional Facility in care of Dexter Hedrick or the Three Wooden Crosses Youth Group.  Headley Funeral Chapel, 813 State Street, Augusta, Kansas 67010 is in charge of arrangements.
