Today's Quote

One of the more astounding aspects of Progressivism is the relative honesty of its early proponents: they often and clearly confessed their desire to boss everyone else, to mold "society" into the shape they desired (and the heck with what those lesser mortals, the taxpayers and serfs, might prefer), to murder those they deemed inferior while imprisoning dissidents. And yet Americans nonetheless allowed Progressives to seize power–and to hold it for decades. (Am I foolishly optimistic to hope that Trump's election heralds the prey's awakening and revolt?).

Here's one such revealing quote from the execrable Woodrow Wilson, courtesy of David Mueller, regarding the State's indoctrination–sorry, education of kids:

We want one class of persons to have a liberal education, and we want another class of persons, a very much larger class, of necessity, in every society, to forego the privileges of a liberal education and fit themselves to perform specific difficult manual tasks. You cannot train them for both in the time that you have at your disposal. They must make a selection,

Nothing like expecting your victims' cooperation.

and you must make a selection. [Emphasis added. "You" would be the New York City High School Teachers Association that Woodie was addressing.]

Why do I suspect that this staunch Progressive credited teachers–Leviathan's employees–with far more authority to decide the lives their charges should pursue than he did the charges themselves?

If you aren't already home-schooling, if you abandon your children to Leviathan's tender mercies after reading this, God have mercy on them—and on you.
