Lila Lorene Koftan, 77, died Sunday, March 23, 2014 at Kansas Medical Center in Andover, Kansas.  She was born December 5, 1936 at Wellington, Kansas, the daughter of Carl and Ollie V. (Moore) Marshall.

On February 26, 1956, she married James E. "Jim" Koftan at Moline, Kansas.  Lila was a member of the First Christian Church in Dodge City, Kansas.  She had been secretary at the Junction City National Bank in Junction City, Kansas and Walnut Products of St. Joseph, Missouri.  She retired as a computer assistant for Boeing in Wichita, Kansas in 1990 after working there for 15 years.  She spent her retirement traveling and enjoying her  grandkids' activities.

She is survived by her husband, James "Jim" Koftan; a daughter, Lori (Kent) Binford of Haviland, Kansas; 3 grandchildren, Ashley (Luke) Salmans, Audra Binford, and Ross Binford; 2 great-grandchildren, Liam and Adah Salmans; and a brother, Kenneth (Saditha) Marshall of Topeka, Kansas.  She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Maxine Burdett.

Funeral services will be Thursday, March 27, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. at Haviland Friends Church in Haviland, Kansas.  Burial will be in Haviland Cemetery.  Memorials may be made to the Haviland Friends Church or the American Cancer Society in care of Larrison Mortuary, 300 Country Club Road, Pratt, Kansas 67214.  Condolences may be left at www.larrisonmortuary.com.
