     Edith Morgan, 92, a resident of Howard Twilight Manor and a former resident of Severy and Altoona, passed away Jan. 21, 2012 at the Greenwood County Hospital in Eureka.  
    Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2012 at the Countryside - Zimmerman Funeral Home.  Family visitation will be held on Monday, Jan. 23 at the funeral home.

Edith Marie (Kebert) Morgan, 92, passed away on Saturday, January 21, 2012. Edith was born January 8, 1920 near New Albany, Kansas, the daughter of Dewey and Emma Kebert.

She married the love her life, Tomas Morgan, on August 12, 1939. They were blessed with three daughters and spent most of their married life in Southeast Kansas enjoying family, friends and life to the fullest.

Edith was preceded in death by her husband, Tomas Morgan, her parents -- Dewey and Emma Kebert, and siblings -- Carl Kebert, Ike Kebert, Jim Kebert and Elsie Fast.

She is survived by three daughters, Donna (Clarence) Pettyjohn of Severy, Kansas, Joyce (Bill) Bradshaw of Claremore, Oklahoma, and Sue Prytherch of Wichita, Kansas;  8 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren; and siblings, Chris Loflin, Anne Phillips, Faye Culley and David Kebert.

Visitation will be Monday, January 23, 2012 from 2:00 – 4:00 pm at Countryside-Zimmerman Funeral Home in Howard, Kansas. Funeral services will be Tuesday, January 24, 2012 at 10:00 am at Countryside-Zimmerman Funeral Home with Pastor Alan Hunter officiating followed by a private graveside service for family at Weakly Cemetery in New Albany, Kansas.

Family has asked that in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to Howard Twilight Manor and may be left with the funeral home.
