will be this Saturday starting at 8 AM and with 8 teams playing Round Robin style....the games will be called because of darkness around ten Or eleven depending how many delays there are and Then Sunday starting again at 8AM and playing till they are through..most tourney's that is around 9PM.
come watch some great and not so great softball..........alumnae will be out in numbers and we have a new generation playing this year, if my memory is well........I hope Shari Cannon will have time to get it on here, if not, my announcement will have to do.

I am honored to open the games at 8 and we will see how long my body can stay in stationary position and if my eyes can keep up. I use to be able to do it for the whole time they played....but I have to give up quicker now. Have been with them either playing (first two years) or scorekeeping for about 18 years, now.
Come watch you will be more than welcome....best bring lawn chairs this year..new ball park and I am still getting use to it.
Oh, dare I ask that all pray the weather will cool off and no one get overheated or hurt.....Prayer never hurts!

I do too. If this heat doesn't ease off, might be a different story. Hope Boyd is ready with help.
Natalie is playing again, so I am sure he will be there. Lots of water and ice, too. Come and watch if you can.

Oh, probably not. Coming to watch that is. I am sure the sheriff's office will be there. Or at least coming and going. Doug was involved in the time that Marsha Carpenter Filtenberger had her stroke, so he really strives to be there. Or at least I think he does.

Judy, whose brilliant idea was it to redo the ball field like this.  Who ever it was does not know a da## thing about convience or efficiency concerning the players>

Kelly, don't get me started. I am not comfortable there, and many many of my friends are not. I don't know who designed it, but you bring your own chair and hope the sun isn't too hot/bright.
Use to use the little building (scorekeepers shed) for shade and we had the roof over the grandstand.
Now, I do know when they moved the big grandstand that the welds were coming loose and there could have been a huge accident if it hadn't. rusted through. That thing was almost 75 years old.
Not even sure I will like being up in the air..not many of us like change.
