we regained power last friday...so that was a week for no power and 3 days with no water.  All of Houston is under a curfew from midnight to six am.  There are still major roads that are closed due to trees, and many stoplights that are still not working as I type this.  We did get to know our neighbors really well though.  We sort of had a barbecue block party the last night without power.

Here I sit in Houston, waiting for the storm.  We are as prepared as we can be, nothing left to do but wait.  I have posted some pictures on myspace

Seems I have heard the same thing.

That would solve the 3.99 ceiling but not the 99.99 ceiling.

true....but I don't believe this is a big issue since these pumps usually do not take payments either.  You fill till you hit 99.99, have the store reset and continue filling.

A news station in Houston ran the story last week I think.  What they are proposing is pricing the gas by the half gallon.

this is what really scares me about hillary

bill clinton  : "So Hillary says, in 2005, the United States Congress adopted the Bush-Cheney energy bill, which gave $27 billion in subsidies to nuclear, oil, and gas and coal. The only thing that was justified was clean coal, because countries are going to be using that. We have to figure out how to take the carbon dioxide out of it. The rest of it is waste. If you elect me, I'll repeal those subsidies. And put them into a strategic energy fund that will create American jobs for America's future with clean energy"

oh I wish I could be there lining the streets for this soldier and his family....please everyone in Elk County, line the streets, not only for the soldier's family but for those of us who cannot be there to support them

If possible, even go to Fredonia to help line the streets there.

Make sure Phelps knows we are united against him and his filth.  Show him his behavior will not be tolerated.
